Aboveground Coal Gasification

Linc Energy signed an exclusive agreement with PowerHouse Energy Inc to utilise its Pyromex ultra high temperature aboveground gasification process to generate electricity and synthetic gas in an environmental manner.

The Pyromex process produces good quality synthetic gas with almost no carbon dioxide emissions and does so without consuming high volumes of water or power. The Pyromex process requires a small footprint and carries fast construction timeframes and low set up costs when compared with traditional aboveground gasifiers.
