Yerostigaz UCG Facility, Uzbekistan

Linc Energy owns the only commercial UCG operation in the world. Known as Yerostigaz and located in Angren, Uzbekistan, the facility has consistently produced one million cubic metres of UCG syngas per day since 1961. The year 2011 marked 50 years of continuous commercial UCG operations at the Yerostigaz facility.

UCG syngas produced at the facility is used for electricity generation at the nearby Angren Power Station. Linc Energy has identified enough coal in its nearby tenements to maintain production for the next 50 years.
